The Caged Bird Flies!

I'm usually so busy greeting customers, directing the staff at Gallery Furniture, and running the store, that it's a rare day when Mattress Mack can actually be a furniture salesman. 

It's a delight to help a customer find just the furniture he or she needs, whether it's a bedroom suit, living room furniture, or something for the dining room.  So I love it when I can take the time to put on that sales hat for a visitor to Houston's favorite furniture store.

I got the chance Monday.  David Clarkston was in Gallery Furniture looking for home office furniture when I walked by.  I asked him if he had found what he was looking for and he said he had, and "I'll buy it if you'll sell it to me."  It was a challenge I was happy to accept!

David told me that I'd sold him a dining room set almost sixteen years ago to the day, back in 1991.  This time he wanted office furniture. Casey's Tale: A Tale in Two Acts!

This story was amazing to me, not in just Casey's commitment to Gallery Furniture, but also his fantastic enthusiasm for one of Gallery Furniture's most fun sales associates, Eva!  Eva's great in that she used to be a pharmacy technician for Eckerd's, and she really does bring that level of love, detail, and care of the customer's needs to her job here at Gallery Furniture.

So, Casey's story starts off with his experience shopping for some new home office furniture here at Houston's premiere choice for furniture, Gallery Furniture, in his own words:

"A wondeful experience! Eva was extremely helpful & friendly.  She answered all my questions and gave some great suggestions.  I bought my couches a year ago from her & she was even able to get new levelers for them.  Thanks, Eva!"

Well, Casey's story doesn't end there.  It turns out that Casey's furniture purchase did not exactly fit throutgh his door.  Our delivery personnel from Gallery Furniture had some difficulty getting this into Casey's Houston residence.  Casey was kind enough to allow our Gallery Furniture Cams into his house to show the challenges our delivery team can face.

Creativity at Work - A member of Gallery Furniture's delivery team had to unassemble the piece on the spot before getting it in.  Luckily, he was prepared and had insturctions, extra parts, and the know-how to make sure that Gallery Furniture could fulfill its pledge of same-day delivery of furniture!

After a bit, Casey stands next to the piece to show the sheer size of this quality home office furniture he purcahsed from Gallery Furniture.  We got it to him on time for him to enjoy!
