Many of you know Gallery Furniture Delivery Driver Roy Ortega from his Colorado Deliveries Story on July 17th - yes, Roy is an expert and seasoned Gallery Furniture Delivery Driver.  He's also a darn good hunter, true to his Texas roots. 

Today, one of Gallery Furniture's great customers - the Rocking S Ranch of Waelder, TX - came in to do some more shopping (the entire ranch is outfitted with gorgeous Hill Country style furniture from Gallery Furniture) as well as drop off the mount of Roy Ortega's clean shot from his trip out to the Rocking S Ranch.

Roy had taken his time that day at the Rocking S Ranch - a high-fenced Texas ranch under a strict game program.  Roy Ortega recapped the story of that day: "Well, we had been out and about and we saw this Red Stag in the distance.  I would say we tracked it for an hour and a half waiting for the right moment to get a nice, clean shot in."

With a live creek that running through the ranch (as well as the many ravines and slight changes in elevation), there are many great animal corridors of travel.  So, after following for over an hour and a half, Roy said "I knew I had it, and I took the shot and it was a good one - I used a 7mm rifle, though I forgot the model.  I do remember it had an awesome scope and stock!" 

So, today, Rocking S Ranch Owner Mr. Spann and his family dropped by Gallery Furniture to bring Roy a great gift - they  presented Roy with the Red Stag's head mount and according to Roy "That WILL go on my wall.  It will be huge, especially since that Red Stag weighed about 400lbs and about a 12-point buck - but that sucker will go on my wall, no question."

First Customers of the BRAND NEW Gallery Furniture Clearance Tent!

Many Gallery Furniture customers may remember the days of the tents at Gallery Furniture's location holding big bargains, big savings and great selections at unbelievably low prices.  Those days are alive and well in a new and improved clearance center at Gallery Furniture.

In the spirit of the old tents, Gallery Furniture had the Aggies at CAM Construction of Houston build a solid, permanent copy of a tent right outside the main door of Gallery Furniture.  Bold and beautiful and mimicking the colors of the building's roof and architectural look, this tent also hold tons of bargains and savings galore for Gallery Furniture customers.

As a matter of fact, the tent was just finished and Gallery Furniture just placed furniture in this evening (see the action at Mattress Mack's Twitter Page at http://twitter.com/MattressMack when, lo and behold, no sooner had some pieces gone in the tent that a local Houston family already scooped up a bargain, making them the first customers of the brand new and exciting Gallery Furniture Clearance Center.
