30 Minutes to A Great Night's Sleep

Tempurpediclogo
Nancy S. of Houston called Gallery Furniture this Saturday, and Service Department Professional Mike Kelly answered the phone!  When Ms. Nancy S. had to tell her testimonial for the blog, we got her in touch with the Marketing and Internet team who took down her amazing Houston Tempur-Pedic Gallery Furniture experience:

"I have been shopping with Mack since he first started - a small tent on the side of the road, goodness, something like 20 years ago.  It was a long time.  In fact, all of my furniture - my entire  home - is all Gallery Furniture.  I don't buy furniture anywhere else.

I came in last night, doing some shopping with my family, looking around, and saw this really neat looking Hästens bed - the round one on display in the mattress department.  Since I was a little girl, I always loved a round bed.  That's when I saw Billy - now I have worked with Billy before.  He helped me out to get some beds for my son in San Antonio when we had to get some beds delivered for him and his children and Billy helped arrange the whole thing.  So when I asked Billy about the Hästens, we got to talking about different types of beds.

I sat on some, then layed down on a bed.  That was wonderful.  As a matter of fact, the whole time I was just talking and talking with Billy and I began to realize that my body felt great, better than it had in a long time.  I asked Billy which bed this was, he told me it was a Tempur-Pedic.  We chatted more as I laid on the bed.  I have a condition called fibromyalgia, which is why I had to retire after 30 years of operating room work with Methodist - the pain can be unbearable.  Often when I sleep or lay down, my legs will lose sensation and I can't move or feel them well.  Not with the bed I was laying on.

I bought the Tempur-Pedic around 9:15.  Gallery Furniture had it in my home and set up in about 30 minutes, so I was ready for bed by about 10:00 p.m. - and to my delight, when I woke up, I saw it was 6:00 a.m.  Not midnight, not 3:00 a.m. - it was 6:00 a.m.!  I had not slept that well in years - not only that, but I never woke  up in the night, I never woke crying with pain, I never lost sensation in my legs.  I was able to not be like a cold engine taking time to warm up - my Tempur-Pedic allowed me to get moving quickly.  I can't thank Billy enough - and I can't thank Mack enough.

You see, the twelve defined pressure points on the body affected by fibromyalgia can cause serious night discomfort when someone sleeps.  That was the case for my body - I would at times wake up in terror from pain.  Not last night, not with this wonderful Tempur-Pedic bed.  There was no trying to fall asleep three to four times last night, it was heavenly.  It felt heavenly.

I have recommended many friends to Gallery Furniture over the years, and when I had a friend of mine drop by the house this morning, I got her to lay down on the Tempur-Pedic.  Her first words were: "Nancy, this is the bed I have dreamed of!" and I told her "well, girl, you need to get on over to Gallery Furniture!"  I told her about Billy and how great I slept last night.

Mack has done so many wonderful things for our community over the years, and I have often heard him talk about the benefits of a great night's sleep and a Tempur-Pedic.  I am shocked I waited so long to try a Tempur-Pedic.  I am glad I finally did, and I am glad Billy was the same person that helped me.

Mack - all of you at Gallery, actually - are wonderful, lovely people.  You just walk around and find value at Gallery Furniture.  Value everywhere.  Most of all, given Mack's commitment to customer service and community and country, I know there is a crown in heaven waiting for him!  I love Gallery Furniture and will never shop anywhere else."

Wow, Nancy, those are very kind words and myself and all of the staff at Gallery Furniture thank you for those lovely words and Gallery Furniture is happy to know you are getting the best night's sleep you have had in years.  That means a lot to the staff at Gallery Furniture, and especially to Billy, and I am very happy that you have been a long time customer and that you have found a friend in Billy as well as joy from a great night's sleep in your new Tempur-Pedic Euro Bed.  God Bless you, Nancy.

Teacher's Lounge Update at Epps Island Elementary!

Today, Gallery Furniture was excited to have the Epps Island Elementary school back for a second time. Back in 1992, Mattress Mack furnished the elementary school’s teacher’s lounge and offices! Last October Epps Island Elementary was part of a non-profit joint marketing program called Easy Money. They were one of the last recipients of this program and raised enough to refurnish their teacher's lounge! Wow!

Around 11:30 this morning, Elaine A. (secretary), Kristin B. (Asst. Principle) and Connie D. (Asst. Principle) of Epps Island Elementary visited the store to pick out some great furniture to update their teacher's lounge from Gallery Furniture, your number one Houston furniture store!

The ladies were able to easily find what they were looking for and use the raised funds on their furniture purchase! They were especially glad to hear that Gallery Furniture was ready to deliver their purchase TODAY, Friday, before the school closes for the weekend at 4 p.m.
