This weekend, like every weekend at Gallery Furniture, is going to packed with great furniture, great deals, and great people. There is always a lot of excitement going on on the showroom floor but there are many people working behind the scenes here making sure those deliveries are sent out on time, answering those service telephone calls, and answering emails from many of our online shoppers.
Behind those Gallery Furniture cashiers desks are people working non-stop for the many Houstonians that visit Gallery Furniture each day. Like I've said before, one way Gallery Furniture meets the demands of the holiday season is by hiring a couple of bright Aggie interns to help out around the store to work on the Marketing and Internet Division. Today was certainly an exciting day! The Gallery Furniture email inbox was full of inquiries about our furniture which our customers can view online at www.galleryfurniture.com. One of the things I do each day is constantly check the email inbox to make sure that our online shoppers are getting the information they need to make great purchases over the phone. If you find something on www.galleryfurniture.com we can look it up for you, give you information, and you can call in to purchase it just like that! It's quick and easy! This works great for those out of town customers because they can still enjoy the fantastic selection and customer service Gallery Furniture offers but in the comfort of their own homes!
Today, I sent out pictures and information on the following pieces to curious buyers which definitely proved to be helpful in their online shopping experience! And I managed to do this all while being given task after task for our exciting Gallery Funriture customer contests we have online at www.GalleryFurniture.com/WinSome and also for the email newsletters. My fightin' Texas Aggie boss, Gil, Class of '96, keeps me busy with assisting on the e-mail marketing campaigns and he has plenty for me to do!
A faithful customer of Gallery Furniture called in today because she had bought an entire room of bedroom furniture for her 2 children a couple of years ago and wanted to complete the set with an entertainment center. I helped her match the brand, the size she needed, and finally was able to send her a picture of what the item looked like! Here it is below:
