The two marketing team members who are testing the new Hastens beds have spent their third night on them. This blog entry is from Hamilton, who is testing the Excel model with BJX topper.
Mack, I think I'll let my wife Debra open this report, by quoting her. This morning she said "I don't know exactly what it is, but there's something about this bed. I'm sleeping better than I have in a long time."
I can verify that. Debra is the night owl of the family. I tend to go to bed earlier and get up earlier than she does. Last night I wanted to catch up on a couple of television programs I had recorded. She has more high brow tastes than I do, so she went to the bedroom to watch a documentary on oil shortages while I watched this week's episode of "Heroes." When the show was done, I went back to the bedroom and she was already asleep. This morning she said she got so comfortable it was easy to drift off. She did not say the documentary was boring, though I think that's a possibility as well.
Debra says she's sleeping through the night, without waking up. That's unusual for her, over the last few years she's been having more trouble sleeping, waking up in the night frequently. For the last three nights that has not been a problem. It's too early to give the Hästens bed credit for that development, at least to me, but she has no hesitation about it. The bed is the difference she says.
We've both noted how comfortable we feel with the Hastens. I've got to believe there's something to the all-natural materials used in the BJX topper. Hastens says the topper allows for more air circulation around your body and that the horsehair stuffing has a wicking action that moves moisture away from your body. It seems logical to think you will be more comfortable if you're not hot and sweaty. You might not toss and turn as much either.

I admit to having some concern at the beginning about getting a medium mattress instead of a firm one. No concerns now, I'm convinced that our old mattress was too firm, at least in the beginning. The medium mattress seems to do a better job of conforming to the body, providing support where it is needed. Combine that with the top mattress and you have unbelievable comfort. I'm convinced that is making a difference in how I sleep.
So is Debra.
We'll continue this series of sleep reports in the blog for next few weeks, letting the test rest folks have 30 days on the Hastens beds. You should try these new Hästens beds for yourself. With models starting as low as $4750 you are sure to find the one that works for you. Gallery Furniture is the only place in Houston or North America - where you buy your Hästens bed today, and you'll sleep naturally tonight! /p>
