From Houston To Lake Jackson

Being welcomed and comfortable makes all the difference when customers walk into Gallery Furniture. People from all over come to Gallery to have that great feeling! Brandon's Bed and Board Blog

Brandon Jackson is one of the sleep system experts at Gallery Furniture.  There's more to his life than mattresses though.   Brandon is a fan of food.  He loves to eat, and he loves to eat out.  Today I'm going to ask Brandon to be a guest blogger.

Here's the first edition of "Brandon's Bed and Board Blog."

There are a number of passions in my life, and they have to include my job at Gallery Furniture and food.  Many kinds of food, though I'm partial to steaks, Italian, sushi.... well you get the point, many kinds of food.

I recently went to Sweden on a trip the Hastens factory.  As I reported for Mack earlier this month,  we spent hours in class, learning about Hastens.  We also got hands on experience, spending time on the factory floor helping make these all natural beds. 

I was amazed then, and still am, at the craftsmanship of the people who build Hastens beds.  They take the time to do it right.   I was impressed by the pride the people at Hastens take in the work the do and the care they take.  It made for a trip I won't ever forget.

In addition to seeing how some of the finest beds in the world are made, I ate at some of the finest restaurants in Sweden, from Koeping to Stockholm.

There are lot of fish dishes in Sweden, and  having pickled herring for breakfast takes some getting used to, but when lunch time came around the grilled herring, halibut, and cod was excellent.  There were numerous sauces, some of them with caviar, to go with the fish.

At dinner lamb was often on the menu and meatballs of course.

Hastens takes pride in the environmentally friendly materials in their beds.  The environment is very important to the people in Sweden, and the food we ate there reflects that.  It was always fresh, and probably better because of it.

Next time... maybe a little red meat.

More than a few Happy Customers!

Gallery Furniture gets so many stories we sometimes put them in one big testimonial!

Moving to a new place is not always an easy or fast task. Shanta and her husband Shaun found out that Gallery Furniture can make it a little easier. Shopping for a mattress is hard. Having the right person help you find that mattress and bedroom set is easy here at Gallery Furniture. Mrs. Davis came in today and was prepared to spend a lot of time looking for furniture. She spent less than an hour here and left with a whole master bedroom set with an accent chair to top off the room! "I really enjoyed my experience and everyone was really helpful!!!

Buying furniture always seems so time consuming for many people. Well it is! The Gudino Family were in need of a new bedroom set and really did not want to waste a lot of time looking. They have come to Gallery Furniture many times before and every time they have come they ask for salesperson Cantinflas. Customer service is what it's all about at Gallery Furniture.  I believe it, and the folks who work here know it.  That's why it's nice to get compliments from someone who knows a thing or two about customer service.

Someone like Charles Wilson.  He's retired now, but spent thirty six years dealing with customers as a customer service agent.  He and Mrs. Wilson had good things to say about their experience at Gallery Furniture.  They came looking for a new television and found what they wanted.  They're thrilled to have the new TV, and I'm thrilled that they are our customers.
