Another true Gallery Furniture customer story!
One customer came in to GF and said, "The reason why I
buy at GF is because Mack is always right there behind the front desk! We know he stands behind everything GF sells and always takes care of his customers. We also buy extended warranties at GF because we know Mattress Mack will take care of any problems we have."
Well, one other customer went to another big store and bought their "Gold Plan Extended Warranty". They had a stain on their sofa and loveseat. Their "Gold Plan" said that their stain could be cleaned up. So they called the store's 1-800 number and waited two days for somebody to call them back. Finally the store called them back and customers said that they would like to report a stain on their sofa and loveseat and would like to get it fixed. The store said fine and they will check it out.
The store asked them when the stain occurred and the customer responded with an answer of about three weeks ago for the sofa and two weeks ago for the loveseat. The store said they would call the customers back in two days. The store called them back in two days and said, "Sorry, if you read the fine print of the warranty you have to call within three days of the stain. We recorded your call and you said it's been three weeks for the sofa and two weeks for the loveseat since the stain happened. Your warranty is now voided."
